Mom”ME” Cruise 2012

It’s time once again to take a break and relax with the Moms on Vacation. This year, our Mom”ME” cruise will be held on the Norwegian Sky. This yearly event is meant for you to join a group of moms who like to relax and take a break for a long weekend. You are welcome to bring your family. There are children programs on board for children aged 2-17. You can feel free to drop them off and enjoy yourself without worrying. You are also welcome to bring your significant other.

We will have a “Mom’s Night Out” on board the ship with makeovers, manicures, pedicures and cocktails. We will also offer a great shore excursion where you will sail to Rose Island for some snorkeling, lunch and sunbathing. You will get a chance to win some great prizes and a free cruise! And of course, there will be plenty of time to relax!

So join the Moms on Vacation for this special cruise on board the Norwegian Sky! To find out more about the Norwegian Sky, you can go to the Cruise Critic website. The ship sails on Friday January 20 to Great Stirrup Caye, NCL’s private island. There you will be able to enjoy many activities such as waverunning, parasailing or just relax at the beach. The next day, we will cruise to Nassau, where you can go shopping, visit Atlantis or come sail with us to Rose Island.

Pricing:

Category IF: A great and affordable way for up to four to cruise, these staterooms feature two lower beds that convert into a queen-size bed and in some staterooms, two pull down beds. And of course you’ll have access to room service and all kinds of other great amenities on board. Price: $234 per person

Category OJ: These Oceanview Staterooms have room for up to three guests, with two lower beds that convert into a queen-size bed and a convertible sofa to accommodate one more. You’ll also have a porthole to enjoy the amazing view. Price: $264 per person

Balcony BC: With room for up to three guests, these staterooms have two lower beds that convert into a queen-size bed and a pull out sofa to accommodate one more. Along with a sitting area, floor-to-ceiling glass doors and a private balcony with an amazing view. Price: $374 per person

We make it affordable for moms to join the Mom”ME” Cruise! Prices are based on double occupancy, but some cabins can sleep up to 4 people. The third and fourth person pays a lower fare. Please call for pricing if you are planning on adding a thrid or fourth person to your cabin.

Taxes and port charges of $82.23 and recommended gratuities of $12 per person per day are not included in the price. To make it affordable for all moms to attend this cruise, we are giving you the option to pay in 3 easy payments:

Spa Day and Christmas Shopping!

The holidays are approaching fast and the Moms on Vacation Travel Club is happy to bring you an experience to make your holiday season less stressful. A Mom Vacation at the Essex in September!

You asked for it and we made it happen!  The Moms on Vacation Travel Club is happy to bring you an amazing deal from the Essex Culinary Resort and Spa.  The Essex is located near Burlington, Vermont and is only a few hours drive for all New  England, New York and Montreal moms.  And it’s a perfect destination for all local moms who need a one night getaway.  I recently toured the Essex and you can read my review here.

The Essex offers a brand new, beautiful spa, a JK Adams kitchen for culinary lessons and various other amenities such as tennis courts, zip lines (woohoo!) and golf.  This trip is planned for Sunday, September 12, 2010 for an overnight stay (check out on Monday).  On Sunday, moms can relax at the spa, take a cooking lesson and participate in a wine tasting event.

The cost of a one night stay on September 12 is only $64.86 per mom, based on double occupancy!!!  This includes the tax!  For moms who do not wish to share a room (there are two beds in each room), the cost is $129.71.  The Essex is also offering all moms 20% off spa treatments, wine tasting and cooking lessons!  Wow!  You can’t beat that!  So tell your mom friends about this and sign up now!

12:30 pm Lunch at the spa or at Butler’s

5:00 pm-6:30 pm Enjoy a special wine tasting for the Moms on Vacation! Taste a variety of wines accompanied by cheeses for $28.

6:30 pm -8:30 pm Italian cooking lesson and dinner in the JK Adams kitchen. This event is meant to bring all moms together for a fun time in the kitchen and a great dinner. The cooking lesson scheduled for that date is an Italian Feast. On the menu: Panzanella Salad with Tomatoes, Basil, and Grilled Shrimp. Lemon Ricotta Gnocchi with Sicilian Chicken Rolls. Hazelnut Lava Cake with Strawberries and House Made Ice Cream. Cooking lessons are taught by chef Kerri Bouffard and are meant to be fun and creative. The meal is prepared by attendees with Kerri’s guidance and eaten right in the beautiful JK Adams kitchen. The evening will end with a bonfire and s’mores!!! The cost of this event is $100 (includes tax) per mom. Moms who do not wish to participate in the cooking lesson can dine at Butler’s Restaurant and Tavern.

Bloggin Mamas Cruise and Conference

Another Euro Spa trip!

Moms, you asked for it and we’re here to give you what you want! Another trip to the Euro Spa is planned for June 5-6, 2010. To find out more about the Euro Spa, read the last review and testimonials here. The Euro Spa is located in Stanbridge, Quebec, not too far for from the Canadian border.  So all you New England moms can join this trip, which is driving distance from Vermont, New York and New Hampshire!

The mom vacation includes a one night stay at the Euro Spa, three meals (1 breakfast, 1 lunch and 1 dinner), a one hour spa treatment and a 30 minute pressotherapy treatment or parafin wax treatment.  You can find more information about these treatments on the Euro Spa’s website. If you’re wondering what a pressotherapy treatment is, you need to try it! I did and it was great! Inflatable bags are placed on your legs. The bags are pressurized and then de-pressurized constantly for about 20 minutes. The treatment relaxes all your leg muscles and makes tired legs feel invigorated. Meanwhile, you are also getting your face massaged. Heaven!

The price for this trip is $289 based on double occupancy. The price includes all taxes, but does not include tips for the therapists. You can add additional treatments not included in your package. These treatments are listed on the Euro Spa’s website. The trip can be paid in three easy installments:
